About the position
We are seeking a Strategist Sales Immigration Lawyer to join our growth organization. This role is ideal for an experienced immigration attorney who excels in client-facing strategy, consultation, and persuasion, and who understands how to align legal solutions with client goals in a way that drives retention and firm growth.
You will serve as a trusted legal advisor during the intake and pre-retainer phase, guiding prospective clients through complex immigration options and helping them move forward with confidence. You will not manage a caseload or handle routine filings; instead, you will focus on strategy, eligibility assessment, and conversion.
Responsibilities
• Conduct high-volume strategy consultations with prospective immigration clients
• Assess eligibility across family-based and humanitarian pathways (e.g., VAWA, U visas, T visas, SIJS, waivers, removal defense)
• Design and clearly explain immigration roadmaps, including risks, timelines, and alternative options
• Translate complex legal analysis into accessible, confidence-building guidance
• Partner closely with intake and sales teams to convert consultations into retained clients
• Address client objections related to cost, risk, timing, and eligibility
• Support pricing alignment and scope clarity
• Contribute directly to revenue growth, conversion rates, and retained value
• Provide feedback to leadership on client trends, demand signals, and service gaps
• Help refine service offerings and client positioning
• Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent legal and sales messaging
• Ensure ethical compliance while supporting business growth objectives
• Maintain accurate consultation notes and outcomes in Filevine or similar CRM/case tools
• Ensure handoff clarity to case management and legal teams post-retention
Requirements
• Spanish fluency
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility to practice immigration law)
• Minimum 3–5 years of immigration law experience
• Strong background in family-based and humanitarian immigration
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills
• Comfort operating in a metrics-driven, performance-oriented environment
• High emotional intelligence and cultural competence
• Ability to work Arizona business hours consistently
Nice-to-haves
• Experience conducting consultations or intake strategy calls
• Prior exposure to sales, intake, or revenue-support roles
• Experience working with high-volume immigration practices
• Filevine or similar CRM/case management experience
Benefits
• Comprehensive health insurance
• 401(k) with employer matching
• Remote work flexibility if outside of AZ (AZ hours required)
• Growth and leadership development opportunities
